Role Description

‍Induction Learning wants to help every student have a personalized education. We are looking for passionate mobile software engineers to join us and help contribute to our aim of helping students gain a personalized data-driven learning solution.

‍Responsibilities

‍

• Design and build deterministic and machine learning algorithms to improve our ability to provide custom recommendations for students.
• Algorithms can be designed with or without programming but should be able to be implemented with programming.
• Work with non-technical team members to discuss goals of algorithms and which algorithms should be designed next.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science or related field.
• Has experience with Python, Java or another programming langauge.
• Proficient with GIT

• Aid in the design and development of mobile iOS application
• Build prototype apps to demonstrate new features
• Fix bugs in iOS application and improve application's performance
• Develop new features for iOS applications
• Continue to build out the Firebase backend with integration in Swift
• Work with non-technical team members to discuss imminent and long-term engineering and design goals

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
• Has a strong background in Swift or another functional programming language
• If no swift background, is willing to learn swift quickly based on knowledge of Racket (preferred) OCaml (preferred), or android studio
• Background in developing and deploying medium to large scale applications (mobile or otherwise)
• Have experience with Firebase or be willing to learn Firebase + Swift integration quickly
• Proficient with GIT

• Have full control of website development in React
• Connect website to Firebase database and create dynamic views based on data in the database for individual users
• Create sign in page that directs users to a page designed specifically for them
• Work with non-technical team members to discuss imminent and long-term engineering and design goals

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science or related field
• Has a strong background in React or another web development language
• Background in developing and deploying medium to large scale web applications
• Have experience with Firebase or be willing to learn integration with whatever web development language is used quickly
• Proficient with GIT
